Federico College Refresher Course is for students that have completed their education but did not pass the Cosmetology and Barber State Board Exam or Licensed Professionals that have let their license lapse. Students in this program with be reacquainted with the basics, master new skills, and enhance their technique. The Federico Refresher Course combines classroom teaching with hands-on training in the field of cosmetology and barber, along with textbook, workbook, and computer based theory review system. We provide extensive state board exam preparation to help you become licensed as a barber or cosmetologist in the state of California. Federico College is proud to deliver an affordable and flexible education system that keeps our students debt free upon graduating from Federico College and ready to start their new career.

Course Length 200 hours:  Part time  12 weeks of 4 hour class sessions with (4) 4 hour state board test prep sessions = 16 weeks

Full time   6 weeks of 8 hour class sessions with (2) 8hour state board test prep sessions

= 8 weeks

***Must have Lapsed License Number from California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology or Proof of Training from the school where you completed you education.
